R: Pre-Alignment is one of the most important tasks, before actually starting to move your equipment in the alignment process. Important checks are the following;
– Coupling Run-out
– Bent Shaft
– Bearing Looseness
– Soft Foot
– Clean under feet from old, rusted or dirty shims, replacing by 3-4 shims
– Coupling condition, excessive wear or backlash
